Demo Room for Jotun Paints, Flixborough

Following a successful Glasgow office redesign, District Four was commissioned to transform an underutilised Flixborough space into a multifunctional demo area. The project needed to showcase Jotun’s complete product range while facilitating team training, partner visits, and informal meetings within a branded environment.

The approach involved considered space planning to maximise impact and function. Tired flooring was replaced with durable carpet tiles, and modern furniture created a comfortable discussion and training space. Demo units and tinting equipment were integrated into the design rather than added afterward, with coordinated dimensions and access points.

Finishing touches included a new acoustic slat feature wall, custom cabinetry, and complete redecoration aligned with Jotun’s brand while maintaining practicality.

The outcome is a sleek, modern demo suite that allows Jotun to communicate its product story with confidence and clarity. The integrated sample display system makes complex coating technologies more engaging and tactile, helping visitors understand solutions through hands-on interaction.
