The approach involved brand strategy development through collaborative meetings, visual identity creation with a distinctive logo and colour palette, consistent brand application across touchpoints, and interior redesign featuring raw industrial materials and sleek, modern finishes.

Green elements including modular planters and a green wall were integrated to reflect Sheffield’s urban-natural blend.

The outcome positioned New Shoots as a distinct and cherished destination within Sheffield’s coffee culture, with the innovative design creating an inviting atmosphere, catering to a diverse clientele.

The challenge involved reinvigorating Leah Bakes’ visual identity. The bakery sought a design that not only mirrored the high quality of their baked goods but also reinforced their brand within a competitive sector.

The approach centred on three key areas: brand recognition through vibrant interiors using the bakery’s signature colours; functional design balancing takeaway service with seating; and personal touches emphasising warmth befitting a family-run operation.

The project involved reimagining a 5,000 sq ft ground floor workspace for 74 employees.

District Four meticulously reconfigured layouts to maximise efficiency while creating dedicated areas for collaboration and focused work. Furniture selection prioritised ergonomic solutions – office chairs, desks, and storage – balancing comfort with aesthetic coherence.

Aspire PC faced a disjointed layout that lacked designated zones and didn’t reflect their modern business approach. Key areas like kitchens and breakout spaces were underutilised and impractical.

The design approach involved three main strategies: strategic space planning creating clearly defined zones with a reception area, brand-aligned aesthetics using complementary wall colours, and a collaborative breakout space serving dual purposes for lunch breaks and informal meetings.

The outcome delivered a vibrant, functional space fostering productivity and collaboration with thoughtfully zoned areas. Employees now enjoy an improved kitchen and multi-functional breakout space.

Interior Refresh and Furniture Supply for School Staff Rooms

The project addressed transforming eight school staff rooms for an academies trust in Yorkshire. The challenge involved outdated and uninspiring spaces with uncomfortable furniture that failed to provide necessary relaxation between lessons.

The approach included: blueprint design with a comprehensive concept addressing aesthetic and functional needs, creating a unified design rolled across all eight rooms; furniture supply of high-quality, ergonomic pieces including soft seating, modular sofas, tables, chairs, planters, and storage solutions; colour psychology using soft greens, cool blues, and warm reds selected for their soothing effects, complemented by natural elements and modern kitchen features; and zonal planning with strategic zones for relaxation, collaborative work, focused desk sessions, and dining/social interactions.

Staff praised the completed spaces, noting improved aesthetics and functionality that significantly enhanced their functionality and positively impacted well-being and productivity.

The team needed an overhaul of their West Yorkshire head office – a space that had grown tired and inefficient. The constraints included working within a listed building featuring striking red brick walls and steel beams. The objective centred on creating a design that honoured these existing architectural elements while delivering a more functional workplace environment.

Strategic space planning reorganised the layout into distinct zones: open-plan office, printer area with storage, and a kitchenette with adjoining breakout room. Private offices, a spacious boardroom, and smaller meeting room accommodated various collaboration needs.

Colour was strategically applied to walls, complementing original features. Photorealistic 3D visuals, detailed plans, and comprehensive technical drawings facilitated smooth construction.

The completed space delivers a dynamic, welcoming office where staff feel invested in their workspace. The naturally flowing layout designates zones for focused work, collaboration, and rest. Meticulous planning combined task seating, soft furnishings, desking, acoustics, lighting, and wall coverings into a cohesive aesthetic.

Inspired by Louisiana’s vibrant culture, they used bold colours, layered textures, and playful graphic patterns to infuse the space with energy and personality.

The approach focused on brand-driven visual identity, efficient layout design optimising customer flow through distinct zones for ordering, collecting, and dining, versatile design creating scalable elements that adapt to different space sizes, and cohesive storytelling curating details from feature walls to signage.
