Innovative Store Concept for Local Bakery in Doncaster

The challenge involved reinvigorating Leah Bakes’ visual identity. The bakery sought a design that not only mirrored the high quality of their baked goods but also reinforced their brand within a competitive sector.

The approach centred on three key areas: brand recognition through vibrant interiors using the bakery’s signature colours; functional design balancing takeaway service with seating; and personal touches emphasising warmth befitting a family-run operation.

The outcome successfully created a bold and colourful atmosphere that enhanced aesthetic appeal while deepening customer engagement. The redesign strengthened market positioning and established a strong foundation for continued growth.

Office Redesign for West Yorkshire Based Education Trust

The team needed an overhaul of their West Yorkshire head office – a space that had grown tired and inefficient. The constraints included working within a listed building featuring striking red brick walls and steel beams. The objective centred on creating a design that honoured these existing architectural elements while delivering a more functional workplace environment.

Strategic space planning reorganised the layout into distinct zones: open-plan office, printer area with storage, and a kitchenette with adjoining breakout room. Private offices, a spacious boardroom, and smaller meeting room accommodated various collaboration needs.

Colour was strategically applied to walls, complementing original features. Photorealistic 3D visuals, detailed plans, and comprehensive technical drawings facilitated smooth construction.

The completed space delivers a dynamic, welcoming office where staff feel invested in their workspace. The naturally flowing layout designates zones for focused work, collaboration, and rest. Meticulous planning combined task seating, soft furnishings, desking, acoustics, lighting, and wall coverings into a cohesive aesthetic.

The outcome delivered a consistent and engaging brand experience aligned with GDK’s global standards, positioning both locations for sustained success through a design strategy balancing operational requirements with brand identity.

Design-Led Office Refit for Dolphin ICT

The project involved transforming a dated ground floor space into a modern, vibrant workspace for Dolphin ICT.

Key design elements included: a bold corridor wall graphic reflecting the client’s tech-forward brand identity; matching stairwell graphics; full-height artificial moss wall featuring the Dolphin logo; custom acoustic panelling in the boardroom with concealed storage; shaped acoustic wall panels throughout office spaces; new desks and task chairs installation; brand-aligned colour decoration; curated wall prints; and new flooring in entrance and stairwell areas.

The outcome delivered a visually cohesive, acoustically balanced environment that enhanced team morale while reinforcing brand identity for client and visitor impressions.

Office Design and Fit Out for Taylor Stevenson

Taylor Stevenson had outgrown their existing workspace. The layout no longer made sense for how the team worked day-to-day and the interior felt dated and disconnected from their brand. They wanted a space that supported growth and allowed their teams to work more effectively.

To achieve this, they needed to replan the entire layout, open up additional space by knocking through into the neighbouring unit and create an environment with more structure, identity and purpose.

The team reworked the full layout to give each part of the office a defined purpose, creating a natural flow between work areas, social space and private rooms. They sourced and supplied a full furniture package that complemented the new layout and echoed the Taylor Stevenson brand personality.

The design introduced a solo work pod and phone booth to support private calls, focused tasks and quieter moments. Mesh panels were used to divide areas with subtle industrial references, while acoustic elements and material choices reduced noise and added texture.

The completed space provides a clearer, more structured working environment with improved zoning and flexibility across multiple work settings.
